Presentation:”Made in China”
China is very diverse – in just about any aspect you can think of. First of all, there are 56 ethnic groups with hundreds of dialects. Lifestyle, standards of living, customs, and natural environment are also so very different. I have thought long and hard on the many ways to help illustrate this diversity. So, here it is, “Made in China.” I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have in putting it together.

The sound track accompanying the images is “甜蜜蜜” by 邓丽君. Chinese, both old and young, enjoy this song immensely – even today.
Images in this presentation are courtesy of Flickr.com. I am very grateful for the many wonderful photographers who have traveled throughout China and have captured these incredible images of these kids. I sifted through about 20,000 images on Flickr before settling on these 50. Yes, many nights staying up late! Editing was done to the images to allow better “fit” for this presentation.
I hope everybody could see China more than just something that is black and white, but rather through the eyes of these lovely children and see happiness, poverty, affluence, and above all, eagerness and curiosity to connect with the world.

This is a great presentation! And you have put in so much effort. Exactly is the fact that we need to showcase China to the whole world both of which foster great curiosity about each other. Thanks Dewang for taking this step.
Thx Lynn. It was a labor of love.
